Hsinchu, Taiwan, June 10, 2026 — The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), an international non-profit organization, has announced the results of its Supplier Engagement Assessment, with WNC Corporation earning a Leadership-level “A” rating for the second straight year. As WNC was also awarded A ratings in CDP’s Climate Change and Water Security questionnaires, this makes WNC one of the few network communications companies in Taiwan to obtain three A ratings from the CDP in 2025. Earning three A ratings from the CDP underscores WNC’s commitment to and progress in building a sustainable supply chain, enhancing information disclosure, and strengthening environmental resilience, further reinforcing its position among global sustainability leaders.

WNC adopts a variety of engagement mechanisms, such as holding regular vendor conferences, to strengthen the decarbonization capabilities across its value chain. The company requires all its suppliers to sign a Supplier Commitment to Sustainability Declaration and Supplier Integrity Commitment Letter as well as adhere to the Supplier Code of Conduct to reduce the impact of their operations on the environment, society, and human rights. As of the end of 2025, 98.4% of WNC suppliers had signed the Supplier Commitment to Sustainability Declaration. WNC uses its in-house digital supply chain platform and Green BOM database to manage and analyze suppliers’ carbon emissions data, third-party verification rates, and carbon reduction performance. The analysis results are then used to formulate engagement initiatives and differentiated carbon reduction programs. WNC also uses the EcoVadis and RBA ratings platforms to assess suppliers’ sustainability risks, enhancing carbon management efficiency and overall resilience across the value chain. WNC will continue to build on the pillars of strict governance systems and value chain collaboration to help its value chain partners improve their climate governance performance and work with them to create a future that supports both business growth and environmental sustainability.
